Hello and welcome! I'm not great at introductions...or conversations...or hugs. But I'm glad you're here. In a nutshell, I'm an author and plant nerd. I am the flower farmer and florist behind Melmac Florals in Brentwood, TN. In my spare time, I write about my life experiences: raising a child with autism, a lifelong battle with depression and anxiety, faith, family, and marrying my high school sweetheart. My first memoir, Cucumbers in Heaven, was released in March of 2025! You can also read some of my musings on my blog; I write new posts on a very irregular basis.
This book was a long time coming, and I'm excited to share it with you! I hope that many of you will read my words and realize you are not alone.
